On an 82 GLT [fuel injected - B23], can anyone tell me where the wiring for the coolant temperature sensor goes once it dives down between the block and the fuel injection apparatus. Mine is in terrible condition where it meets the sender, but I can only trace it for a few inches before it disappears into the void. Most of the insulation has disappeared and the only thing preventing it from shorting to the block is the brittle tubular covering, which itself is broke in three places. I'd like to replace the wiring but at the moment, cannot see how I would do it without taking the intake manifold off.
