How are the metal dealer signatures typically affixed to the car? I have one placed directly over the VOLVO plate on the tailgate of my V90. I would love to remove this unsightly blemish and would rather not wait on the chance that someone will eventually rear-end me. On the other hand, I don't want to substitute drill holes or blemished paint for the signature....
