I drive a Yellow 1987 240 DL Wagon. I recently have replaced the blower motor and it works great. I was just a bit disapointed to discover that the defrost still doesn't work. There is little air coming out of the vents, even at full blast. When I looked further into the problem, I found that the vent shutters or SHUTTER ACTUATORS don't work. I believe that it is a problem with the vacuum hoses but I am not sure how that all works. The Haynes book was no help when it can to this problem. Winter is right around the corner and I don't want to be driving around like a "TANK OPERATOR". James Grabau hit the nail on the head with that term. I used a squeegee last winter. Please help.
