I am converting my 86 240 sedan to a manual transmission. My question to you guys is, Which transmission should I get??
Preferably bolt up without any major modifications.

I don't mind the electronic overdrive (M46), but I hate hearing about all the problems people have with their ODs? (or is that only with the auto trannys?)
Then again, it would be cool to have a true 5sp, but without risking reliability (M47), is it possible?
Any other trannies that bolt up besides those two?
B230F engine with AW70 right now by the way.
