Drivability problems 200 1991

My car is acting like the battery is weak. I can start it easily, but as soon as I put it in Drive it suddenly shuts down. I can restart it but have to get it going really fast in order for it to get going. The battery is relatively new and fully charged. Might this be the idle control valve or throttle plate?
