'90 740gle warm/hot start problem 700

I have replaced the fuel pump checkvalve, fuel pump relay, and RPM/crank position sensor and felt that I had this intermittent no-start problem licked. It actually was improved (started on first or second try) for a few days. Now it has become quite ornery again. Help!
