I have a 1990 740GL 2.3L SOHC that is steadily becoming harder to start especially when the engine is warm. The computer is giving me a 223 (idle valve signal) code. I was wondering if anyone else has had this problem and should I be looking at or eliminating other causes before I invest 154.99 in a new idle valve.
