which exhaust header pipe ? EGR or not? 200 1989

Volvo 240 DL 1989 sedan B230F 200K kms.

What a horrible experience I had at the local muffler shop (speedy muffler).
After trying and ordering a handfull of different header pipes (mostly Bosal) none would be the correct one for my car. Some had a different size hole for the O2 sensor, others were too short to reach the cat converter?

So what is the story with this? I looked through the Bosal book with the mechanic and the part number was correct?

Does my car have EGR, or not? What does it look like, location, so I can check?

We ended up modifying a short header (cutting and adding a piece to the straight pipe) to get it to fit... Though not very happy to do so.

I am now reluctant to order any header pipe from FCPGroton (not personal) worrying that I might get shipped the wrong pipe (ship to Canada).

How can i know which pipe I should need, and what are the different ones?
