K cam and auto tranny 200

Hi all,

There seems to be a consensus that K cams are not suited to auto. trannies unless the latter are fitted with "high stall speed torque converters (?)". I pulled the original B23E engine, K-cammed, out of an auto. tranny equipped 1982 244. Should I assume that Volvo factory-fitted "high stall thingies..." to the auto. trannies of such engined/cammed cars?
