My 1995 945 Turbo has some slight stumbling on cold idle.... NOT at startup... for it runs fine for about four minutes. It's just when the temp needle eases past the 'C' that this happens. The engine stumbles through the idle... and it takes a little gas to keep it from dying.
I cleaned out the idle control valve and lubricated it... I cleaned the throttle body... recently replaced the ECT senor too. Idles like a swiss watch at normal temperature.
I'm wondering if I need the eprom update that's covered in the FAQs for the later model 940's? The only thing is that these aren't quite the same symptoms as described in the FAQ.
Any suggestions?
