How to confirm a head gasket leak? 200 1993

I've been having stalling/misfire problems with my 93 245 (see previous post "Revision to post about poor idle/stalling - Now it misfires! HELP!"). Anyway, last night while trying to track down the problem, I noticed that water was dripping slightly out of the tailpipe and vapor hung in the air. I wondered if it was due to the humidity, so I started up my other car, a 99 Saturn, which sits next to it in the garage. No drips/vapor came out of its tailpipe. I suspected a head gasket leak, so I checked the dipstick in the Volvo and didn't see any evidence of water in the oil (the dreaded whitish emulsion), and didn't see any oil in the coolant. Also, the coolant level was normal. So, if I do have a head gasket leak it's small. Could this be causing the stalling/misfire? How can I confirm I have a head gasket leak? Can I pressurize the coolant tank and listen for leaks at the tailpipe/throttle body? Thanks for any help.
