How many speakers in your 900? 900 1994

Hey guys,
I will be purchasing from crutchfield soon, so I've been searching this board for any and all radio/speaker information. I've noticed that most people claim to have 6 speakers (2 in dash, 4 in doors.) Hear's the thing I have 8 speakers, 2 in dash, 4 in doors, 2 in back parcel shelf. Now this is in a sedan. Do I have a "special" model or something, I can't believe that I'm the only one with this setup?

This brings up another question. Should I retain the factory amp, or bypass that puppy?
