Can a vibration at idle (felt primarily through the steering wheel) be caused by a vibration damper/crank pulley that needs replacement? The timing mark is properly located. Can the rubber connecting the two parts dry out or get hard enough to contribute to engine vibration? Or is the purpose of this part something completely different? Thanks!!
