electrical - lights, fan all out - please help! 120-130

First post to the board - though a fan since I got the 122. Hoping you can solve an electric problem.

Just since 10 minutes ago the indicators, brake light, reverse light, fan, wipers all have stopped working, and when I try one of the them the amp light sometimes goes on instead. The headlights, radio, and vanity light seem to work though.

I've twisted the fuses and checked the wire-cluster that leads to the back lights and can't see any breaks. The Haynes is rather unspecific, merely saying 'take the whole car apart and you'll crack it through a process of elimination'. I'm hoping that you guys can be my co-eliminators and steer me to it.

I will really appreciate any advice. THanks.
