Brake job on 960 wagon 900

After 9 years and 3 240 wagons with a combimned mileage of the 3 at 739K I finally moved up to this 960. Getting tires today I noticed the brake calipers. the rear looked like the 240 calipers(easy to change pads) but the front calipers are larger. Do you have to remove the calipers on the front to change the pads? Any advice from anyone that has done the job before?
