How do you get the OD off an M46 200

This is one area where the bently sucks.

Ok, first I undid all the small nuts that should hold it on, but I couldn't get it to budge. Then i undid the 6 or so that attach it to the iron part of the case. Now I got that to come off about 1.5 inches or so, but it just won't go any further. Now I've cleared the linkage for the shifter, but I just can't get it off.

GOD I HATE M46'S!
