95 940 77,000 km getting ready for winter...
Since I was putting the snow tires on today, I also decided to bleed the brakes (and calipers). But now the car is pulling to the right when braking.
When I bled the calipers I also unbolted the bottom glide pin bolt and rotated the caliper up and then pressed the cylinder. As per FAQs - pinched the line off to prevent the crud going into the ABS etc... For the rear calipers I just bled since it seemed to much of a challenge to remove them.
The driver side front caliper had a little difficulty going back on over the pads. I think the springs were catching or something. After some wiggling it went on.
Went for a drive today and noticed it pulled to the right. Rebled the entire system tonight thinking there was air. Actually the brake pedal is now firmer than I have ever felt before so I think there is no air in the system.
What might be the cause of the pulling? Seems that the driver side caliper might be the problem - perhaps the pads are not sitting properly thus not achieving full contact. Under hard breaking tonight the front right side went into ABS mode - taking alot of the braking for the car. Driver side did not lock up or activiate ABS.
Any advice would be greatly appreciated. I plan to check tomorrow morning to see what is going on.
Thanks
Chris
