Exhaust System Replacement & IPD high flow systems 200

I am going to replace the exhaust system on my 1986 245. There are two pipes which pass the rear axle, one goes over the other goes under. Any opimions as to which is better. Only one pipe is bad but I am going to replace the entire system aft of the cat converter. IPD has a high flow non-turbo exhaust system anyone use it or should I just stick with stock volvo parts. Thanks
