Are all new in-tank pumps noisy? 200

In the past 5 or 6 months I have done 3 in-tank pump replacements on my 240's. 2 pumps were original replacement and 1 was the k-jet update to the 740T pump. All 3 proved to buzz like crazy and are significantly louder than the originals. Is this something that will wear away as they break in? or are the new ones just stronger? Or am I doing something wrong? Has anyone else experienced this?
