Does anyone know where I can get detailed pics or schematics regarding where the preamp is located in my 89' 760T? I have read numerous threads and have come to the conclusion the thing is not part of the radio itself but separate and is located underneath the steering wheel somewhere. I have searched and have not come up with anything. The thing keeps cutting in and out which is very annoying. I pull the fuse and the rear speakers stop working. If I install a new stereo should I bypass the preamp by running all new wires?
