93' 940 auto volvo upshift light comes on for no reason but then goes off, without affecting tranny 900

my 1993 940 has a auto. the overdrive light (arrow) sometimes comes on for no reason, then dissaperas a few seconds later. but it does not affect the shifting of the tranny in any way. has never done this before. normal auto kickdown and manual shifting using the electronic overdrive button still work excellent.. thank you
