Belt Adjustment/ Replacement HELP!! 200 1987

On my 1987 240 the belt that drives the power steering is driven off the air conditioner pulley which in turn is driven by the crankshaft dmper pulley. When you adjust the AC belt it changes the P/S belt adjustment.
Two questions
1. What is the correct order in which to adjust the belts ?
2. How the **?^%#@! do you loosen the AC compressor so that you can remove, replace, and adjust that belt.
