need help ASAP: alternator 200 1991

On my 91 245 the alternator pulley can like spin free of the alt shaft. This thing has been working fine for about a month since I replaced it. When I installed the pully and fan on the new alternato I put everything on exactly how it came off, and yes, I did use that little key thing(metal insert) that goes into the shaft to hold the pulley in place. I have tried to take off the screw that holds on the pulley, but even though it isn't pressing tightly onto anything, just kinda like in the middle of the threads, it won't budge. Seems as though it is being held in place with like lock-tite or something, even though I never used anything when reassembing the thing. Any ideas on how to fix this damn thing?
