Head gasket identification 700 1991

Is it possible to determine if a donor engine has a turbo head gasket, without taking the head off? The engine is out of the car and the seller doesn't recall. The engine is stripped down, with all the accesories and most of the sensors gone. The oil pan, block with all the internals, head and valve cover are there, but that's about it. To the sellers best knowledge the engine is from a 94 or 95 700/900 series Canadian vehicle. Would the dealer be able to tell me if I gave them the VIN number from the block?

Thanks in advance.
