Shortly after I bought my lovely 740 GLE Sedan, the bulb light out warning began showing up on my dashboard when I used my brakes or had the left turn signal on (though not every time would the light out signal come on). The bulbs have been checked and replaced. When my car was in the shop for some front end alignment work, I was told by the mechanic that my rear circuit board was not grounded, or had a bad ground, and I was also told by a friend that was following my car last night that whenever I used my left turn signal, the brake lights and reverse lights would flash on and off (he snickered and said he thought my car looked like a cop car racing down the highway to pull someone over). So I've been looking on line for the replacement part, but can't seem to find it anywhere. Is this part really called a 'rear circuit board' or is there another, more offical term for the part I'm looking for? The car repair shop offered to fix this 'bulb out signal problem caused by the rear circuit board' for $500. Well, I'm not spending that much money for some lights. I have a trusted friend who is willing to replace the part, if I can find it somehwere. Any help or advice? I've checked out www.all.alloemparts.com, www.volvoparts.com, www.herschinds.com, www.volvoworld.com and www.swedishclassics.com. They all carry tail light assembly kits and tail light bulbs, but not this mystery circuit board. If anyone can point me in the right direction, my eternal thanks.
