Water around the fuel tank cap.

Hey Group,

This one has been bothering me, especially today. The fuel filler has a rubber ring and lip around it, presumably to keep waterout, but because it maybe deformed, it actually catches and hold water around the filler pipe.

Two things first there is a good chance for water to get into the tank (the water level was pretty high this am-alot of rain recently- and two RUST.

Has anyone experienced this problem and whats the fix.
