Chrysler ignition 200

My 81 242 has the white chrysler distrubtor. Does that mean its a "california model"? Also, could I expect any power gains from switching to the bosch ignition and how hard would it be to actually do the switch? Any splicing of the harness required?

My ultimate goal is to build a b23e... I've already sourced the 405 head and a K grind cam, just to find a b23 block. I also read somewhere that when the chrysler ignition was put into the b23e in later production it limited horsepower to 107.

Just wondering. Adam.
