removing rear rotors 200

Does anybody have any good tips for removing the rear rotors? My mechanic buddy says just to whach them with a sledge - doesn't matter if you destroy them, you're putting new ones on anyway.

I've tried everything short of that - doesn't really seem to be any way to get a puller on. I've tried penetrating oil and heat. A little reluctant to smash it really hard, in case bearings, etc., get damaged.

Thanks in advance.
