Rear Defrost comes on by itself? 200 1993

1993 240 Wagon 204K ... really dispite the nusance problems this car is in great shape. Here's the thing. Sometimes when we start the car the rear defrost switch lamp comes on all by itself. Last night I was following Kathy home and noticed that the center brake light was on and went off whenever she stepped on the brake and the right and left rear brake lights came on! I asked her if the rear defrost light was on and she says yeah! So I am thinking there is some kind of bad ground or something going on back there. Anyone out there maybe can pinpoint the ground point I should be looking for? Thanks again.
