How to remove speedo cable fro speedometer? 200

Hi all

I am removing my instrument cluster and can not get the sppedo cable disconnected from the speedometer. I removed the tamper proof gaurd, now how do I disconnect the cable? I tried turning it with my finger and tried pulling but I don't want to get too rough and break something. Does ti pull off? Or unscrew?
