Fluid leak?? 200

I have an 86 240DL. No fluid leaks if I drive the vehicle everyday. Once I let the veh sit for 2 days, (temps are getting down to mid thirties at night), I get a fluid leak that looks like it is middle of veh, behind front wheel at rear of engine. Upon swiping the spot on the ground, it is not oil, nor is it red (tranny), and no smell. As i am writing this, wonder if brake or p/s is leaking and it just takes time to run down after stopped?

Anyway, I guess I will put some wax paper down to determine fluid, but are there any obvious things or common problems re fluid leaks?
