arejohn you wrote “My 92 965 hunts between 3rd, 4th, and OD between 35 and 45. Was driving me crazy so I disconneded the SL solenoid at the TCM. I like the way it drives. ECM has 332 code set but no error ligth. When I get the time I am going to add a switch that will allow me to run Normal, OFF, or engage at highway speeds on my command.”

I desperately need to do this. My 92-960 is doing this exact same thing and it is driving me crazy. What is the SL solenoid at the TCM and how do I disconnect it? And if you have the time to write, how do you install a switch for this?
