1990 740 T - freshen up

This is the kind of post you guys love.

I priced out a nice certified pre-owned wagon and I'd rather spend 5k on my nice PAID FOR wagon than finance a newer car. Heck, if 5k of freshen up will make me happy for 5 yrs. I've save 20k!!!

This is a 1990 740 T high pressure turbo, stick, with 118k. In the last yr. I've done the following:
Replaced: FI relay, AMM, rpm sensor, fuel pressure regulator.

What I think it needs:
tyres, front struts, plugs, exhaust (cat back)

Drives great with the usual wear on front bushings...otherwise good and body is excellent.

If I am willing to sink 5k into her, what would YOU do? Mechanics speak up, cause you see this all the time.
