240 lifter knock 200

Brickers,

My beloved '87 240 (350,000 mi)has developed a knocking noise in the valve train.

1) Could this be fixed with a valve adjustment? (Haven't done a valve adjustment in XX years).
2) If it's wear, what is likely to be worn here? Cam? lifter? How much to fix?
