78-240. repair of power steering/ac comp support structure on engine.

A couple of the bolt holes that hold the structure are stripped out.

I suppose the remedy would be to re thread the holes? Or is there something else I can do?

The ac comp is no longer is use, I sure would like to get it out of there. Are there any alternative ways of mounting the ps pump that would eleminate the ac comp?
