Is the illustrious Don Foster around tonight??? 200 1985

Hello :o)
Sent the hub out tonight to get pringles and chocolate for the pregnasaur and told him to take Willy the 85 240 wagon.....she will not start....no problems with the car until now; we searched the forums and came to the conclusion likely culprit is the fuel pump relay (and that you are the guru on that sort of thing)....pulled the relay out and opened it up (didn't seem to have been opened before; no obvious resoldering done on it). Did notice that one of the pokey-bits on the board was blackened a bit on its edges (sorry- Mike is usually the one who posts this stuff..).I think that it is one of the connectors- at any rate it's on the side that doesn't have the coils. Can you give any insight on whether this indicates the relay is crapped out, or do you think it might be something else?
