'87 760 dies while running, will not restart for me, only for repair shop 700

How odd is this, I have the same problem four times this week. Latest one just happened (just got back from towing). Driving and the rpm's drop to zero, no shutter, bang or other sound. Will not restart. Just got a new battery and had the fuel pump relays replaced this week when it first happened. Now, last time I droped it off for service they had it running no problem, never died in their hands. Am I crazy or what? Any ideas?
