940 building tremedous pressure in cooling system 900 1991

I have a 91 940 se turbo. A fan broke and my wife did not realize she should pull over and long story short, the radiator melted, fans broke, etc. Luckily no headgasket damage or engine damage WHEW!!! To fix the problem I replaced all belts, upper radiator hose, thermostat and the radiator. Ever since, I have had to replace the lower radiaotr hose, heater control valve, both hoses. Next the water pump went so I replaced that as well. I have noticed that I have a tremendous amount of pressure built up. The hoses are tighter than any other car I can remeber. The new radiator blew out on the side and bowed. The radiator shop was able to repair but now It still builds pressure and the drop in sensor keeps popping out. I have replaced the thermostat again and the radiator cap. I also roughed the sensor a bit and the grommit and put some silicon sealant around it. No luck. ANY advice would be appreciated. Is a lot of pressure normal and what can I do about this stupid sensor! Thanks in advance for all the great help I anticipate. I really really love this car and hope it is repairable.
