Greetings,
I know this topic seems to come up a bit, but I searched through the archives and didn't find the answers I was looking for.
I'm trying to find progressive springs that will drop my 245 about an inch.
Here's what I've come up with:
IPD:
not progressive
Jamex:
I went to their site and couldn't read anything
How much do they lower the car (I've read on brickboard 2" in the front and 0.5" in the rear), are they progressive, how stiff are they?
K & G Trimming (Lesjofors springs):
Progressive rears, linear fronts, 20% stiffer than stock, supposed 1" to 2" drop
* Have any of you used Lesjofors springs? The idea of stiff front springs and progressive rear springs sound intriguing.
Someone on brickboard has a blue 245 with approx. a 2" drop. He posted pics of it in the last two months, but I can't seem to find the link anymore. If anyone has it please post it. I believe the car was from the Vancouver area.
Diesel springs:
retain the ride height in the front and are stiffer than IPD.
What do people use for rear springs when they switch to diesel springs in the front?
Cutting/heating the springs:
I want to stay away from this.
Are there any other spring options that I'm missing?
Thanks in advance!
Jaak
