Update, Found turbo problem! Plesae help ID this part. 700

Thanks! to all who responded. I feel kinda stupid for not seeing it earlier but I found that there's a "T" connection on the hard tube between the intercooler and throttle body. It goes to a 5/8 or so hose onto a device underneath #3and #4 intake runners (IAC?). Anyway 60% of the 5/8 hose is missing or disentegrated and wrapped in electrical tape and the junction to the hard tube is broken. Maybe when the used car dealer cleaned the engine, he screwed up the bodge job on this hose but there's no way it's holding pressure as it sits.

Here's the important question. What years of 740 Turbo had the same hard tube/hose connection? I'll call the dealer in the AM and see what a new one costs but since it's a non-mechanical part, I'd really like to find one at the boneyard.

BTW, someone told me on the 200 board that once you go turbo, you can't go back. I was so dissapointed with a NA 91 240 sedan that I test drove that I jumped ship from the 200 to 700 series just to get boost. This is a very cool car, I used to think they were ugly but 30 min behind the wheel changed my outlook completely! I look forward to sharing with you my mechanical adventures!
