Tailgate Window Washer '88 240 wagon 200

Well, after replacing the wiring harness in the tailgate then replacing the relay switch for the rear wiper, everything finally works but the washer pump. The stalk will activate the wiper arm but....no washer fluid shoots out the back dispenser thingy. The pump works fine in the front and I assume the same pump activates the fluid onto the tailgate window. I have looked in the Haynes manual and have not been able to locate this animal. Anyone know what to look for next? As usual all help much appreciated. Thanx Dean
