Re: 1981 242, 4 cyl, non-turbo. I’m trying to replace a completely plugged breather box/oil separator. I’ve removed the intake manifold and throttle body. The separator is still buried by the wiring harness and lots of fuel lines and the fuel distributor, if that’s the right name for what appears to be the Grand Central Station of fuel lines. It looks like a complicated mess in there. Should I remove the starter and go in from the bottom? It looks like the bracket that supports the “fuel distributor” is bolted to the block using one of the same bolts that holds on the oil separator. It looks like if I take off the starter, I’ll be able to see everything a lot better. (My 1986 240 is sure a lot simpler under the manifold.) As you can see, I’m a very confused individual right now. I’m not an expert at this stuff. Please help. Thanks, Doug
