Installing CD player in 240's 200 1993

I bypassed the amp by finding the wires from it going to the speakers. Then I soldered the wires from the CD harness to them directly. Find out which wire goes to which speaker by rubbing a fresh 9volt battery across the wires, you will hear a snap from the corresponding speaker.I left the amp installed since it was tough to remove. After installing the player in the dash (removing the OEM radio was tough due to the rear attachment), I just plugged in the connector to the player and have been happy with the tunes.
No problema.
