Tips on trans flush and 96 960 oe radiator question

I just did a trans flush on my 94 965 and this is what I used.

I had available 4 gallons Wal-mart Super Tech Dex/Mercon III fluid (4.20gal) which I marked on the outside for 2qts.

One skinny but long funnel (usually orange) which fit into the trans fill line and one larger but very long funnel to fit inside smaller funnel.

One milk jug marked at 2qts. and a 3 - 4ft length of 3/4id clear vinyl tubing and hose clamp. This 3/4 id hose fits a csr radiator top trans line outlet. I don't know what an oe radiator for this car would use.

One 7gal bucket that I used to wash my cars. This capacity makes it easy to take to the speedy oil change for recycling.

How I did this flush.

I drained the oil pan into a shallow catch pan and poured into a marked for 2qts milk jug that was cut open on top for easy pouring. There may not be a drain for 240s or others.I pour into the trans the equivalent amount 2 1/8 qts.

I put the vinyl hose over the top radiator/cooler trans outlet and clamped it down.

I put the lid on the 7gal bucket along with a marked milk jug with hose inserted.

Had my wife start car and shift into different gears until fluid hit the 2qt mark and had her shut off the engine. It doesn't drain very fast.

Pour the old fluid into the 7gal bucket.

Pour in 2qts fresh fluid and repeat until satisfied that fluid is now bright red like blood.

I put teflon tape on the trans line and reconnected.

Idle car and shift through each gear for 5 seconds and then back to park and check level of fluid at idle. It should be at the cold mark.

I would drive the car for at least 10 minutes at highway speed and check that the level is now at the HOT mark and adjust.

I'm going to do this for my father in laws 96 960 and was wondering if anyone knew what size outlet is on the oe trans cooler. He lives 120 miles away and I was going to do this at Christmas. Thanks.
