Experienced replacers of famed PNP switch.... 900 1995

I need to replace the PNP switch on a 95 960. I have the switch and the alignment tool. I do no have access to a lift, just ramps and jackstands. I jacked the car up and took a look see before I actually do the work.

It appears the headpipe(s)/convertor unit must come off to get at the PNP switch. For those of you that have already done this repair in your driveway, I would appreciate any tips, do's, dont's before I tear into it.
