Driveshaft support bearing 900 1992

I appreciate all the information I have read about 960 driveshaft shudder and would like to get advice on the correct way to replace the support bearing.
After installing the new bearing, should I wait until I have everything bolted up at the transmission and the differential before tightening the set screw on the spline joint?
