Retro fit ABS or update the 740? 700 1989

Hi! I'm new here. Does anyone know if retro-fitting ABS brakes on a 740 is possible? Failing that I may upgade to a Volvo that already has them, unless someone has an alternative idea. What year model did they become available on the 700 series? I ask because the snow & ice here in Finland is super slippery. I appreciate you help.
