A little curious about the trunk 200 1986

I was curious about 2 things. First, how much weight is a good weight for winter weather? I'm in PA and we're supposed to get some snow tonight. I currently have 150 lbs. in there.

Second, are those 2 wells behind the tires in the trunk made specifically for putting some sort of weight in the proper place? They seem perfect for that.
