power trunk opener help!!!!! 200

i have power locks and im having this probalem since i bought my car. the power lock work on all doors. even in the truck where the motor is the metal arm pulls back and forth therefore the power trunk should work but it doesnt. it in the spot where it should be. i got a helper and i saw the arm out of the insert moving back and forth physically. Please help Thank you!!!
