Anyone towed a 240 with a 240? 200

I want to pick up a parts car about 100km away from where I live, and was thinking about pulling it on a car dolly instead of paying to have it towed. I think my 89 244 should be up to the task. I think a 245 is within the 3500 lb towing limit isn't it? I am not too worried about that as I have pulled a 5800lb wood chipper behind the 89 without any problems but only about 20 km. Is there any reason this is not a good idea?
